Kids and Exercise
Just one hour of exercise per day can make all the difference to a child and transform their health both now and into adulthood.
Figures published by the British Heart Foundation show that 1 in 3 children between the ages of 2 and 7 do not achieve the minimum recommended levels of exercise. By the time they are 15 almost two thirds of children do so little exercise they are classed as inactive.

Experts believe that just one hour of exercise a day can help fight obesity in children which can, in turn, fight diabetes and heart disease later in life.
Research has also shown that the behaviour of children with special needs improves significantly with a good diet and regular exercise (Daily Telegraph 10.01.2007). During the trial parents and teachers noticed a marked reduction in youngsters’ hyperactivity, anger and restlessness after a regime of good diet, nutrition and exercise.
